Vice President of Communications - Stephen Rozek

Stephen Rozek Stephen Rozek joined the YEC in April of 2014 and now is our Vice President of the Communications committee.  He joined scouting as a Tiger Cub with Pack 181 in Andover.  He completed Cub Scouts with Pack 150 in Sparta.  He then proceeded to become a Boy Scout with Troop 150 in Sparta where he is still a very active member.  Stephen achieved the honorable rank of Eagle Scout on December 3rd 2013, has earned 6 Eagle Palms, 107 Merit Badges and continues to earn more with the vision of earning all of them.  He has also earned the Arts and Hobbies, Sports, Outdoor and Religious Life Bronze Award, the Venturing Gold award and the Venturing Silver Award.  Stephen is part of 4-H, sports and active in his church.  He is currently a 15 year old Homeschooled Sophomore.  Stephen enjoys helping others and always looks for the next great adventure!
   

Vice President of Program - Shane Jones

 Shane Jones Shane started his scouting career when he was in first grade and his father asked him if he wanted to become a cub scout and ever since then he has loved scouting. Shane is an Eagle Scout with 107 merit badges. He actively participates In the order of the arrow and is a brotherhood member. Shane is on staff for the 2015 liberty jamboree. He likes shooting sports and considers fishing one of his most exciting hobbies. Shane's best memory is hiking the Appalachian trail, he loves being outdoors and is super excited to start his first year with the YEC.
   

Vice President of Service - Andrew Kamichoff

Andrew started his scouting career as a tiger in pack 30 and bridge up to troop 330. He attained the rank of eagle and is a founding member of troop 310. Andrew was elected into the order of the arrow and received his Vigil Honor in May of 2014, he has also served as Vice-Chief of Administration and Secretary for Woapalanne Lodge #43. He was invited and joined the YEC in February of 2012 and has served the past two years as Vice-President of Service. Andrew received the National Outdoor Medal of Achievement June of 2014, he was the first boy scout in NJ to receive this award and the 56th in the USA. He has also received the National Youth Leadership Society Award (12/2014) and the PPC Youth Leadership Award (2/2015). Venturing Silver Award in June 2014. Scout/Scholar/Athlete Award 12/2013. He is currently entering his senior year at Arthur L Johnson High School in Clark where he is a member of the Varsity Bowling Team (4 year county champions) and the Science League. He plans on entering Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute to pursue a degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical/space Engineering in the fall of 2016.
   

Vice President of Venturing - Katie Rozek

Katie Rozek  Katie Rozek joined Venturing in 2013 as a founding member of Venturing Crew 276. She was the founding President and is now the VP of Administration. She has earned her Venturing Sports, Religious Life, Outdoor & Arts and Hobbies Bronze Awards, Venturing Gold Award, Venturing Silver Award and Girl Scout Gold Award. She has completed many training courses including Powder Horn, ILSC, NYLT, Trainers’ EDGE, First Aid, CPR and more. She is a junior and is homeschooled. She has been a member of the YEC since 2014, and is enjoying the experience. Katie, in true Scout spirit, is constantly looking forward to her next Scouting adventure.
